This Privacy Policy explains how LawBits, LLC ("LawBits") and the independent law firm FreedomCounsel Legal, LLC ("FreedomCounsel") collect, use, share, and protect information in connection with our websites, platform, forms, calls, and limited-scope legal services.
LawBits provides non-legal informational and support services to help individuals plan and organize their estate and elder-law matters. FreedomCounsel is a separate, independent law firm that provides limited-scope legal consultations and document reviews through licensed attorneys. LawBits and FreedomCounsel coordinate to deliver your overall plan but operate as legally independent organizations.
Information you provide: Name, email, address, phone number, payment details, form responses, uploaded documents, preferences, and any messages you send to us.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device ID, pages visited, usage logs, cookies, and analytics data.
We do not use your personal data for unrelated advertising or resale.
Service providers: We work with trusted vendors for technology, payment, hosting, and customer support. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not sell or reuse it.
FreedomCounsel and attorneys: When your plan includes legal consultation, relevant information is shared with FreedomCounsel and a licensed attorney in your state to provide the limited-scope legal services in your plan.
Referrals with your consent: If you request a referral to another law firm, we will share limited information only after your explicit consent.
Legal reasons: We may disclose information only when legally compelled through valid legal process. We do not voluntarily provide user information to government agencies.
We do not sell personal information.
